The book is called Bury That Sucka and it is a non-fictional account of a scandalous, bizarre love affair that the Black community has with the n-word, exposing how they have been mesmerized by this infamous, diabolical word.
There is a crisis in the Black community today. Too many young black men are being incarcerated; the homeless, drug addicts, dropping out, suspensions and expulsions from schools. Bury that Sucka, shares with you how this is all linked to a deep, dark and twisted past and how the African Americans continual practice of embracing the n-word is a self-defeating and self-destructive pre-conditioned custom.
Bury that Sucka, was written to forewarn of the dangers to the Black community the continuous and insistent practice of flirting with a snake of a word—250 plus years of a diabolical, evil and corrupt practice in the destruction of minds of a race of people—support advocating the burial of the n-word. There are those who will never allow the world to forget an infamous 12-year period, the Holocaust…but yet to the chagrin of the African American, there are those who will ask that the darkest and ugliest 250 years in the life of a nation be ignored and forgotten about. And these are sentiments from both white and black America.
Nigger is more than just a racial slur—it is a created image. To break the will of a race of people they were broken-down and forced to accept a new image of stupidity, ignorance, and irresponsibility, alcoholism, lack of pride, dignity and self-respect. No love of self, wife or child. This newly created image was labeled as being a nigger. There is a macabre psychology behind this word that far exceeds it as just being a racial slur. Some African Americans have ready made excuses as to why they greet each other with the n-word. Desensitize? Take the sting out?
The n-word has an anathematized history…nothing will ever change that. The best way to desensitize this subject is to free one’s self from it. The image of the n-word isn’t being desensitized it is being reinforced. Just listen to the lyrics from some of the rapper CD’s, glorification of the gangster life, disrespect for self and women…an image that African Americans have been conditioned to accept of themselves now going on 400 years.
There are now national movements underway to ban this word from the vocabulary of all African Americans. These movements should not and must not be minimized. Though, for many African Americans it is far easier to embrace the n-word, rather than free themselves from it. There are reasons, other than what the users provide, as to why this is so…in Bury that Sucka you will learn the whys.
Bury that Sucka, is written in a manner that all can understand. The points are
well taken and the wording is easy to follow. There are quotes from great
people in our history including Martin Luther King, Jr., Harriet Tubman, Muhammad Ali and many, many others. Smith has mixed history with honesty, love with life, and education with effects. This is a great book for educators, parents, managers, professionals, newsmen, and anyone else wanting an in-depth look at the n-word, the effects and the solutions.
The author has studied the idioms, meanings and the psychological impact of words, its energy and vibratory effects on the human mind for more than two decades. He has been a guest on several talk shows, The Power, The Exchange, Andrea Williams’ Jamin 98.3 and many more. To learn more about Bury that Sucka, please visit http://www.burythatsucka.com
United Voices for a Common Cause, Inc. presents its Benedict Arnold list for those Blacks who publicly insist upon using the n-word including Daman Wayans.
H. Lewis Smith, author of Bury that Sucka and Founder/CEO of United Voices for a Common Cause,Inc. announces UVCC’s Benedict Arnold list as is so described:
PURPOSE: No longer is it acceptable to trample upon the memories and honor of those who were tarred and feathered, burnt alive, castrated, hung, boiled alive, sodomized and tortured with hot pokers, disemboweled, unmercifully tortured in countless numbers of other ways, all in the name of the n-word simply because since the victims were considered to be a n***er it was okay to perform such atrocious, despicable acts. And yet as evil and heinous as these acts were there is something that transcends it and that is descendants of these canonized victims taking the word n***er and embracing it with tender loving care and using it endearingly and affectionately among them. How idiotic and moronic can this possibly be?
ELIGIBILILTY REQUIREMENTS: Consideration to be placed on the Benedict Arnold list is as follows: Blatantly showing by act and deeds a determination to undermine the African American community with a defiant public display and intent to use and promote usage of a word that is disrespectful, dishonorable to the memories of those who suffered physically, mentally and emotionally…the n-word.
Qualifiers of the Benedict Arnold list shall henceforth be looked upon as the village idiots of the community. To further clarify the criteria distinguishing who makes the list and who doesn’t among the proponents in favor of the word. It is not intended to try and nail everyone to the cross. It’s only when someone like a John Ridley or Daman Wayans who publicly…in a defiant, determined and perverse manner supports undermining the Black community by pledging allegiance to the n-word, then and only then will those names be added to the Benedict Arnold list.
In accordance with the aforementioned eligibility requirements the following have been found to be eligible to have their names placed on this list and why it is so moved.
JOHN RIDLEY as result of his verbal public defiance and insistence on referring to African Americans as the n-word and his writing of “Manifesto of Ascendancy of the Modern American N***er ” is hereby placed on the Benedict Arnold list.
DAMAN WAYANS as a result of his verbal public defiance and insistence on referring to African Americans as the n-word and his attempts in trying and still trying, though he has been turned down time and time again to register the name nigga as a trademark to be used as a marketable item for a clothesline and other marketable items, is hereby placed on the Benedict Arnold list.
